Free uptime monitoring with 30-second checks

Uptrack checks 5 websites or APIs every 30 seconds and alerts you when one fails. The free plan has no trial period and needs no credit card.

Free: 5 monitors at 30 s · paid from $3/mo, 30-day money-back guarantee

What the free plan includes

Checks every 30 seconds

All 5 monitors run at the same interval, from Nuremberg. A check every 5 minutes can miss a short outage completely.

Response checks, not only status codes

A keyword monitor looks for text on the page. It finds the page that returns 200 but shows an error message.

Alerts by email and one chat channel

Add one of Discord, Slack or Telegram next to email. Consecutive failed checks must happen before an alert goes out.

A public status page

You get 1 status page, so customers can see current status and uptime data without asking you.

Uptime and response time reports

The dashboard shows uptime, incidents and response time for the last 30 days.

Commercial use

You can monitor a business site or a client site on the free plan.

How free plans compare

A free plan is a choice between more monitors and faster checks. These values come from each company's public pricing page, checked in October 2026. Read the full comparison of free tools.

This plan is not for you if

  • You need more than 5 monitors for free. UptimeRobot gives you 50, at a 5-minute interval.
  • You need checks from several regions at no cost. The free plan uses one location.
  • You need SSL, DNS, port, ping, heartbeat or browser checks. These are on paid plans.
  • You do not have a work email address and do not want a paid plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is the free plan really free?

Yes. It costs $0, needs no credit card and has no trial period. Commercial use is allowed. The number of free accounts is limited. When the limit is reached, new sign-ups see "Free plan is full" and can choose a paid plan instead.

How many monitors do I get for free?

5 monitors, each checked every 30 seconds from one location, Nuremberg. Each monitor can be an HTTP monitor or a keyword monitor.

Who can use the free plan?

The free plan needs a work email address. You can then monitor any site. Paid plans accept any email address.

How do I avoid false alarms with one location?

The free plan waits for consecutive failed checks before it alerts you, so one failed request does not start an alert. It cannot compare results between locations. For that, paid plans check from several locations, and several must confirm a failure.

What does the free plan not include?

Ping, port, DNS, SSL, domain, heartbeat and browser checks, webhook, SMS and phone-call alerts, API keys, email subscribers on the status page, and more than one location.

What happens when I need more?

Pro costs $3/mo for 50 monitors at 30-second checks and 12 check locations, with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
