How alert confirmation works
Most monitors alert on the first failed check. Uptrack requires consecutive failures before creating an incident.
Check fails
A check returns an error. Could be a real outage, or just a transient DNS timeout.
Confirmation re-check
Uptrack immediately re-checks within 10 seconds. If it passes, no alert. You never knew.
Confirmed? Alert.
Only after 2-5 consecutive failures does Uptrack create an incident and notify you.
