How to set up WhatsApp alerts
Opt in on WhatsApp
Send any message to the Uptrack WhatsApp business number. Meta requires this opt-in before we can send alerts.
Add the channel in Uptrack
Open Dashboard → Alerts → Add Channel. Select WhatsApp and paste your number in E.164 format, for example +12025550123.
Send a test
Save the channel and send a test alert. You should see a downtime sample on WhatsApp within a few seconds.
